Top 3 Beauty Trends of 2015

Hello friends, today's blogpost is gonna be slightly different than my usual review type of posts, I mean it is still beauty related, dahhh... Now I have been wanting to do one of these "trendy" posts in the longest time and for some reason I just never really got to it but thanks to BEAUTEQUE by beautequeofficial which you should all follow by the way because they are awesome and they do have a great selection of beauty products on their site that I personally really like and I think you would too if you love beauty, anyway I finally get to do one and I really hope that you'll like it. Bear in mind that these are just my opinions and my thoughts on what's gonna be hot in 2015 in the beauty world, I might be really wrong but people are allowed to have their own opinions right?!! So without further ado, let's crack on with my top 3 beauty trends of 2015!
New Makeup New Look
No.1 SKINCARE
No matter what makeup you use, high-end, drug store, doesn't matter, the most important thing is to have a good skin to start with then whatever you use on top is gonna be flawless anyway, let's just be honest.

I think facial oils and chemical peels are gonna be huge this year, not that they're not popular already but I think they'll be so hot because these 2 will give you the best skin you would ever dream of and they are just better than your ordinary moisturisers that's for sure. I mean I personally love face oils and peels, and maybe that's why I wold think like this, but honestly oils are just far more nourishing and moisturising on our skin especially one of those serum + oil in one type of products, also save me time as far as skincare routine because I don't need keep layering products. I'm all over that!

As far as peels, I mean it has to be chemical peels, such as AHA, BHA, fruit enzymes etc. Nobody likes harsh bead-based exfoliators, well at least I don't. Chemical peels will make our skin look much more smoother and youthful, then facial oils will give the nutrients and the moisture we need so these 2 will definitely be one of the top skincare trends in 2015, that's just my opinion.

NO.2 GLOWY SKIN
I think matte and full coverage foundations are way in the past but healthy, glowy skin base type of products such as BB, CC or even EE creams will be far more popular as they just look better and much more skin-like, ain't nobody likes dull and cakey complexion, am I right?!

I recently started using the Laneige BB Cushion and it is fabulous because it evens out my skintone really well without being thick or cakey, and the glow it gives is just amazing plus it has SPF 50, max protection to our skin. I highly recommend, you guys should really give it a try.

I think we girls gotta remember that foundations are only supposed to even out skintones, they are not meant for covering up everything on our faces, that's the job of concealers. Keep layering foundations is seriously wrong and it's just not a trendy look honestly. I think people realise that now and that's why those BB type of produces are so hot this year and I think it would only get hotter.

If you think a good glowy skin base is not quite enough then you can certainly dab a little cream highlighters on your cheek bones, bridge of the nose, forehead and of course down the chin just to give extra bit of glowy-ness. Powder highlighters are nice but sometimes they can look a bit heavy and kinda fake, the glow-from-within look is the sort of thing that we need to achieve.

NO.3 MINIMAL EYE MAKEUP, NATURAL BROW AND BOLD LIP
Barely there eye makeup paired with a bold lip colour is something that I think will be very trendy this year. I don't know why I would think that, maybe it's the fact that that's the look I have been enjoying wearing quite a lot lately, or perhaps I am just really inspired by the Burberry SS15 runway makeup look which basically has nothing on the eyes apart from an earthy toned matte eyeshadow over the crease, no mascara ( I know, shocking), and a bold ass red lip that is just gorgeous in my opinion. I mean I still love smokey eyes but I just think this kinda look is gonna be so popular from now on as it does suit for pretty much every girl out there especially the ones that enjoy doing no-makeup-makeup looks but still wanna look chic and put-together.

Bold lip is everything these days, it will change your entire look and to be honest that's all we need sometimes especially for someone, and by someone I mean myself who would rather sleep for an extra 10 minutes rather than getting up early doing a full face makeup. I really don't have time for that so throwing on a bold lippie is all I need, it makes me look more awake, I feel happy and I feel pretty!

Now brows, I think we've all seen the video and the photo that Wayne Goss who is a very well-known and of course talented makeup artist had put up a few weeks back. A fully draw-on brows are so out, I mean they just look fake and unattractive in my opinion.

I think it'll be very pretty just to fill in a little bit where you needed basically but very light handed or just use a tinted or clear brow gel to brush them through, the natural looking brow you have, the better and trendy you'll look. I highly recommend Gimme Brow by Benefit because it gives your brow some colour and set them in place without making the brow hair feel and look hard and crisp.

That's it guys. Those 3 are my top beauty trends for 2015. Please let me know what you think and feel free to tweet or instagram me @eflicciardello with your beauty trends that you think are gonna be popular this year.
