Hi guys, happy Friday! Finally the weekend is here. I don't know what your plans are but whatever you do remember to stay hydrated on these cold days. And speaking of hydration, I want to introduce you a bottle of pure B5 Serum by Filtered Skin which is supposed to keep your skin hydrated all day long and provide the glow that we all want.

A little disclaimer before we start: I got sent this product by the lovely Veronica of Filtered Skin, but I will be complete honest with you as always and all opinions are mine and 120% honest. She didn't ask me to blog about it but it would be a shame not to because it is lovely. Now the serum is described as a splash of water on your face, and I have to agree with it. As soon as I put it on, it feels so refreshing, it is rather thick in terms of consistency, and a little sticky like most of the hydrating serums on the market but it disappears once it's fully absorbed. It sicks in instantly and you wouldn't believe the glow it leaves to my skin. I look awake and healthy.

The most I like about this serum is that Filtered Skin makes it from scratch and every bottle is freshly made with no parabens or any other nasty chemicals. The ingredients are so simple. There are distilled water, dl Panthenol (Vitamin B5), Hyaluronic Acid, Leucidal Liquid which is certified natural organic preservative. Less is more people.

Veronica kindly suggested to use it alone with no moisturiser on top, and apparently the ingredients are better work on their own to deliver the hydration we need throughout the day, and I have to say I complete agree because I tried it with my daily moisturiser on top for the first 2 days and my face felt rather dry and I had no idea why, then I remembered what she told me so used it on its own and that felt a lot better, so if you have normal to dry skin then definitely use just this and that's it, but if you do have oily skin then feel free to layer it with your favourite moisturisers.
Do keep in mind that this bottle will last up to 6 months once it's opened so try to keep this baby in a cool, dry and dark place for longer shelf life because it is, as I mentioned above, freshly made with no chemical preservatives.
So the verdict: definitely worth giving it a try. My skin feels so soft and smooth afterwards, and I just love the glow it gives.
