Review & "Demo" on the Signature Mineral Mask by MV Organic Skincare

I love a good clay based mask if you can't tell already by the posts I've done so far. I admit... I am a mask junkie especially keen on trying clay-based masks. I just love them! I love the squeaky clean feeling afterwards, it's not for everybody but I love it. Is that weird?!

Anyways I discovered this Signature Mineral Mask by MV Organic Skincare like 3 weeks ago from cultbeauty and I am already falling in love with it. I don't know what it is about, I can't explain it why I am in love but sometimes just the feeling you know...

This is a straight-up clay mask. The main ingredient is superfine sun dried white French clay (Kaolin). It claims to do for complexions what a holiday does for well-being; soothing stresses, calming irritation and restoring that well-rested glow. It also gently exfoliates the skin. I have to say I agree with it all. It just cleans your face really nicely, and leaves this glowyness afterwards. I do also notice my skin is less red after washing the mask off, so it does calm my skin, which I really really like as I do have red cheeks.

I use this mask once sometimes twice a week. It's "kind of" a DIY mask if you will. I actually really enjoy mixing it myself, it's kinda fun. Really simple, all you need is drops of water and 2 or 3 drops of your favourite serum (optional), then you just mix it all together untill it turns into a cream. You can apply it with your fingers obviously but I personally prefer applying it with a traditional flat foundation brush. Less messy and easy to spread this way. I normally only use 1 teaspoon of the clay although it says 2. It's really up to you as long as it's enough to cover your whole face or/and neck if you want. Don't waste it as it is not that cheap. It cost me £33.

Don't mind my serious face, I do get that alot! hahh! It is very creamy when you first apply to your face, then after 5 or so minutes it becomes really white, not hard though. It says on the instruction "Do Not Wait Till the Mask Becomes Dry, Wash it Off When still Damp." I found that kinda impossible to do so just because it does dry pretty fast, and I like to wait a little longer as for all my masks so that my skin absorbs more of these good ingredients, maybe it just me. It says wash it off after 7-10 minuets when it's still a little damp but it dries literally after 3 minuets. Anyway....Do what makes you happy, there are no rules when it comes to waiting time of your masks to be complete honest. However if you do wait for about more than 10 minuets, the clay starts to drop down your face and it will get all over your clothes, I did that once and it was a bit of a mess, so don't wait too long I guess.

Ok there we go! The before and after shots! Can you tell the "sad" and the happy faces? LOL just wanna show you guys the result of this mask! I don't think the camera is doing its justice in terms of showing how smooth and glowy my face becomes after using it. Don't mind my red spots here and there, It's the time of the month if you know what I mean.

That's it. That's all I have to say about this mask. It's a lovely mask indeed. The French clay is definitely good for our skins if we use it in the long run. So try it and definitely tell me how you think of it by leaving me comments below or as always on twitter @eflicciardello.

Take care of your skins guys!!! XOXO
