My thoughts on the CHAMOMILE CONCENTRATE ANTI BLEMISH MASQUE by Aesop

I have "a thing" with face masks. I love them so much and I believe they make a big difference in your skincare routines. I have normal to combo skin and I do occasionally get some odd spots and blemishes on my face. I used to love the Origins Out of Trouble mask for blemish control but it is quite difficult to get hold of it in Italy so I moved on. I mean I still love it but since I can't get hold it I went ahead and bought the CHAMOMILE CONCENTRATE ANTI BLEMISH MASQUE by Aesop from cultbeauty

First of all I like the packaging. I know that most people like a squeeze tube or a pump bottle for  hygiene reason, but I gotta say I like a nice glass jar for my mask, it just looks so much more elegant and luxury. That's just my thing. It contains 60ml (2oz) of products and it cost £33.

Now as for texture, it's creamy but not thick. It's pink in colour. Oh yes... Emmmm.... It's a clay-based Anti-Blemish Masque, with anti-bacterial Tea Tree Leaf, Rosemary, Sage, Lemon Peel, soothing Chamomile Bud and Evening Primrose extracts. It claims to reduce inflammation & draw out impurities without compromising skin's delicate balance. I have to say that I love the ingredients in there, very natural and good for your skin. As for reducing inflammation and drawing out impurities, couldn't agree more. It does exactly what it says on the tin and that's why I love it.

Now I am not staring at you don't worry I just wanna show you what it looks like after applying this mask for like 10 mins. It looks kinda disgusting I know, but that just mean it's working. You can see the little dots around my nose area, that's because the clay in this mask is drawing out all the impurities and oils on my face. I can really feel it's working for me. As for controlling and canceling blemishes, I do feel that it's doing it's job, well it didn't wipe away all my spots but the small ones are  definitely vanished after washing it off. Although the big ones are still there at least they are less red and less noticeable.

There you go... This is after I washed it off. I use a muslin cloth to take off the mask but you can just rinse it with water, whatever you may prefer. Now you can see my face is pretty clear after this but on the right side of my forehead there are still a couple of spots there but less red I promise you.

All and all I recommend this mask. It's not the cheapest I know, but if you have the money to splurge then why not. I have to admit I lean towards higher end masks because I have really bad experiences with drug store skincare products in the past, not all of them but some yes. It's personal preference whatever works for ya!

Here is the ingredient list if you are interested: Water (Aqua), Kaolin, Bentonite, Alcohol Denat., Glycerin, Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Peel Oil, Ormenis Multicaulis Oil, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Oil, Leptospermum Petersonii Oil, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, d-Limonene.

I hope you enjoyed my thoughts on this lovely CHAMOMILE CONCENTRATE ANTI BLEMISH MASQUE by Aesop. Hope you all had a lovely weekend! See you next week! Take care you all!
