Current Favorite Face Masks

I am a mask junkie I admit. I enjoy trying different face masks, and I believe they are absolutely essential in our skincare routines. But finding "the right" one can be tricky sometimes because there are so many brands and types of face masks that we can choose from, and their benefits and effects vary depending on different skin types. Bare in mind that what works for me might not work you so I recommend go to a counter and ask for a sample just to try it before purchasing as it might not work for your skin type and let's face it some face masks are pricey and we don't want the money down the drain don't we?!

That's enough rambling and let's just get on with my current favorite face masks.

First up, GlamGlow Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment. Aghhh there are no words for it. It's so gorgeous! I have finished the whole thing and just bought another one like 3 days ago. It's pricey I am not gonna lie but so worth it. If you are not sure about this mask then GlamGlow does the miniature version which you can get 5 uses out of it. I think that's pretty cool considering the full size jar costs 50€. But I will keep repurchasing it despite the high price tag, because it is simply gorgeous and make you glow as the name suggested.

It contains exfoliating beads that deeply cleans, makes your skin glowing the next day, and it smells divine so what's there not to like. Although it might not be suitable for those of you who have sensitive skin as it does have the actual exfoliating beads in it, but that being said I had no problem with it and I do have sensitive skin so try it first. I suggest to apply a face toner before applying this mask the first a couple of times because the tingling sensation is rather strong and it feels slightly uncomfortable in a way, but once you are used to it then there's no need for applying a toner before hands. If you are someone that is used to chemical exfoliators then you will get on well with this mask.

I have nothing bad to say about this mask honestly, although GlamGlow should've crushed the green tea leaves instead of leaving them in the jar as they are. They are too big and they remain in the sink after washing off. That's just what I think!

Next up is Supermud Clearing Treatment from the same brand GlamGlow. Can you tell that I like GlamGlow? This is a recent purchase and I am already obsessed.

Unlike the Youthmud this one doesn't have the actual exfoliating beads but it does have some bits in it that deeply cleans the skin without the harsh scrubbing. Therefore it is perfect for those who have sensitive skin. It draws impurities and junks out of the skin and leaves it smooth, soft and squeaky clean afterwards. It smells very minty and feels cooling on the skin. So lovely! It costs the same as the Youthmud so choose the one that suits you the best!

It is pretty hard when it comes to finding a good hydrating face mask in my opinion, because there are so many of them in the market and sometimes you just don't know which one to choose so pretty confusing I guess. However I have found "the perfect" hydrating mask that I think you guys would like it too so without further ado I present Calendula Hydrating & Toning Mask by John Masters Organics.

I am not gonna ramble too much about this mask because I had done a full blogpost on it so make sure you check it out. I'll link it right here. This mask hydrates and soothes the skin which I think are the most important things when choosing a good hydrating mask. That's it. And you should now that most of the ingredients in it are organic. Can't go wrong with it to be honest.

Before I go on to my next favorite I should let you know that I have pretty normal skin with a slight sensitivity to it, I do get fairly oily on my T zone in the summer time, and I do have some odd hormone blemishes every now and then so having a good effective blemish control mask is fairly important to me.

This Chamomile Concentrate Anti-Blemish Masque by Aesop is pretty amazing. I have been using it for the past a couple of months and I can see the difference on my skin after each use. Well have a read on this blogpost which I did like a couple of months ago if you would like more info on this mask. But basically it makes my spots less red and even cancels the little ones, which I think it's pretty darn amazing. It won't completely let the blemishes go away but controls them pretty well so they won't get any bigger. I use it once a week and now it's part of my skincare regime. I really like it.

Next up is the Signature Mineral Mask by MV Organic Skincare. I got it from CultBeauty. In my opinion everybody needs a good clay based mask because clay's so good for the skin. This particular one is made from 100% sun dried French clay and it dries real quick on the skin and draws out impurities from deep within. I am gonna save my breath on this one as I have a full blogpost dedicated to this lovely mask, just click here.

Last but not least is the Wild Rose Instant Brightening Mask from Korres. It only comes in this tiny little tube which contains 16ml (0.54fl Oz.) of product. It's pretty small I have to say but I really like it. I pretty much finished it as you can see here, and I will pick up another one just so you know because I like it that much. It smells rather strong but good scent, however if you are someone who is sensitive to scent then you might not like this one.

The funny thing is that I didn't notice there's any brightening effect after to be honest but that being said I like it because it leaves my skin really soft and fresh, just a nice feeling. I don't know how to explain it but I just like it. You know that sometimes something you really like but don't know the reasons behind it, that's it with this mask. I can't tell you why but I like it. Opps hope it helps.

There you have it, my current favorite face masks which I use at least once a week on all of them. You might think it's too much but I am a mask junkie like I said before. What can I say?
