The prettiest Blusher ever: Chanel Camélia Rosé (Réverie Parisienne Collection) 2015

Allow me get straight to the point here... Camélia Rosé is a must have piece from the Chanel Spring 2015 Réverie Parisienne Collection. It is the most beautiful blusher and quite frankly I have never ever seen anything like this before. Those raised roses are simply magnificent and the 2 different pinks makes it even more special. I almost didn't wanna use it when I got it but the colour is just so beautiful so I had to dip my brush in and see what it looks like on my cheeks. Ohh boy! Instant lift, love the glow and the freshness it gives, just like a taste of spring.

This is a limited edition piece and I suggest get it quick if you like it because it is sold out pretty much everywhere. You don't wanna know how hard it was for me to track it down. I literally walked in to every single Chanel counters in my area and they were all sold out, but I finally got one, I'm happy. I originally wanted to buy 2 because it is just so pretty and I kinda wanted to keep one just to look at and one to use, but hey what's the point to buy an expensive makeup item (43.90 Euros) and just to look at right?! But that being said it is definitely a collector's piece if you are into collecting makeup.

(Bear in mind that it does get finger prints all over the compact easily)

It comes in the standard Chanel black packaging with a little brush inside the compact which is pretty handy for touchup on the go as it is soft and works quite well for applying colours. I should mention that it contains only 3g (0.1oz) of product which is rather tiny as far as blusher goes. As for the scent, I actually quite like this one because it is pretty subtle compare to the LES BEIGES powders which I just can't bear. It smells very floral and fresh, like roses but if you are sensitive to fragrance it might not be the one for you but it sort of disappears once it's on the cheek.

(Direct sun light, outdoor)

(Artificial light)

(Natural day light, indoor)

I, to be honest, have never tried Chanel blushers before but I'm very impressed with this one because it is so soft to the touch, to the point that it almost feels like a cream. It is also quite opaque, a couple of dips in the pan is all I need for both cheeks. I really like the fact that it has 2 different pinks in it: one pale almost barbie pink and one deep pink, a little towards mauve if you will so that you can choose depends on your preference. I, however, like to swirl my brush into both because it gives the most beautiful medium toned pink flush to my cheeks, very natural looking, definitely one of those blush from within colours. It has some iridescence in the product which gives a nice glow to the cheek without being over the top. It almost looks like I have nothing on but still manages to make my cheeks look pretty. It in my opinion looks gorgeous on all skin tones but it might not show up very well on dark skin girls but it will work as an nice subtle highlighter though.

This blusher is now my go-to blush for a no makeup makeup day as well as a smokey eye kinda day. I love it, love it so much if you can't tell already. It is definitely a special blush in my collection.

(Very subtle and glowy. I put on a little more than usual so it shows up on camera)

Have you tried Camélia Rosé? Any thoughts?
