I don't know about you guys but I love watching beauty Empties videos on YouTube, and then it got me why don't I do an Empties blogpost since I don't do YouTube videos. So here it goes!
No.1: YSL Touche Éclat Radiant Touch. I think I can save my breath on this one because everybody and their mother are not only talking but using this product. It's so famous in the beauty world and as far as I know everybody loves it, and I am an no exception.
This is brilliant for highlighting the high points of the face but I use it mainly as an under eye brightener/concealer. My dark circles are not too bad so I can get away with just this one and without using a proper under eye concealer underneath.
Definitely worth trying in my opinion but I probably won't repurchase it anytime sooner just because I have other stuff need to be finished and as always I wanna try something different from other brands, to be honest there are other similar products that are pretty good in the market that are worth trying. But that being said it's a fabulous highlighter pen without a doubt. Ohh I have the shade in 2.5 just FYI.
No.2: GlamGlow Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment. I am not gonna ramble too much on it because I have a blogpost about this mask and make sure you check it out by clicking here.
It is now my HG mask let's just leave it like that so you know how much I love it! Repurchase? Ohh definitely! And I just did!
No.3: Bioderma Cleansing Water. Ohh mamma. I don't even need to speak too much about this product. Everybody knows how good it is in terms of taking off makeup. So gentle so effective never irritates my skin.
I got it from my local pharmacy and I don't even remember how many bottles of this I have gone trough. Repurchase? Ohh yes! Over and over again. Don't think I even wanna try other cleansing waters to be honest. I think I'll settle with Bioderma for the rest of my life. That's right. Pretty big statement there ehh!
No.4: Rose Water/Toner from Helan. I have mentioned before about this brand Helan. It's an Italian cosmetic and skincare brand and they are sold in erboristerie (it means herbalist).
It refreshes, soothes and tones. Rose water is so good for our skin and I think everybody should own one. You can soak a couple of cotton pads and stick them to your face and leave them on for like 5 to 10 mins, it soothes and tones down the redness on the face. I really like it. It does have a pretty strong rose scent to it and if you are not a scent person then you might not like it. I have mentioned this in my Morning Skincare Routine blogpost so check it out if you are interested. Just click here. Repurchase? Probably not just because of the strong scent but the product is pretty good.
No.5: Garnier Dry shampoo. I talked about it in my Disappointing Products blogpost. I'll link it here so you can check it out.
It doesn't do much at all as far as dry shampoo goes and definitely won't buy it again. That's all I am gonna say so make sure you check out my Disappointing Products blogpost, just click the link above.
No.6: PhytoVolume Actif by Phyto Paris. It's a volumizing spray and this stuff lasted me quite a while and it does what it says on the tin which I really like.
It does give me volume which is the main reason why I got it. I have pretty flat and fine hair so I am always trying to find the "perfect" volumizing products. It's nice but it's kinda tacky once it's dried, and I don't really like that kinda feeling when my fingers can't even run through my hair you know what I mean?. I don't think I will buy it again so if you guys have any good suggestions please let me know by leaving me a comment.
No.7: Shiseido UV Protective Compact Foundation. This is a great powder foundation, it gives a really good coverage without being cakey, and it has SPF 30 so great for summer as a foundation or a setting powder. And of course great for touchuping on the go.
As you can see here I used it all up. I even took out the pan because the compact is re-useable and all you need to buy is the refill pan which I think it's pretty neat. Do check out my Best Powder Foundation blogpost for more details of this powder.
No.8: Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Balm. I have been on and on and on about this lip balm, I am sorry but I can't live without it. Really need to get myself another pot as you can see it's pretty much all gone. It's just so moisturizing and it lasts for ages on the lips. Obsessed.com
Just check out my Morning Skincare Routine or Lip product Addict Tag blogposts for details of this lip balm. It's honestly the best! Hands down! And I am in love with the scent. Smells so lovely, like lemons.
No.9: Natural Rosehip Oil. I don't know the brand to be honest I just got it from my local erboristeria (herbalist). It lasted me absolute ages and I really do like it.
Rosehip oil is just so good for the skin. It nourishes, moisturizes, soothes, and provides Vitamin C which is essential for reducing dark spots and blemish marks. You can use it on its own or mix it with your moisturizers. Seriously guys get a rosehip oil and start adding it to your daily skincare routines, what ever brand you like. I am gonna get the Pai Rosehip Oil next as I have heard so many good things about it so I won't be repurchasing this one. It's quite good though. If you live in Italy make sure you do get one from your local erboristeria.
No.10: Nude ProGenius Treatment Oil. I love my facial oils as you all know from my previous blogposts. I think a good face oil goes a long way and they are just so good for our skin. This one contains Omega 3,6,7&9 and other good skincare ingredients. I got the miniature one and finished it all up really loved it. Check out my Top 5 Facial Oils about this one if you like, just click here.
I will repurchase it but not just yet only because I really really wanna try the Sarah Chapman Overnight Facial which is so hot right now, every UK beauty gurus are talking about it. You know me, always hunting and trying new things.
I know this is a long post but I promise this is the last one. No.11: Planter's Aloe Vera Repairing Cream for Face, Hands and Body. This stuff is multi use, and it's for all skin types. It moisturizes, protects and repairs. It contains Aleo Vera and other active vegetable oils. It protects against dryness from the sun, harsh wind and other environmental conditions. It soothes as well, so, great for sensitive skin.
One thing I really like about this product is that is refillable. I can keep the beautiful tin and just buy the refill. I like when companies think about the environment as well. Big thumbs up from me.
There you have it my very first Empties blogpost and I really hope have enjoyed reading it as much as I've enjoyed writing it. As always leave me comments on what you would like to read next or follow me on twitter @eflicciardello for daily updates on beauty stuff.
See you all next time! Muahh!
